Pat: Nice review on R-51,however,my R51 manual states that +P+ ammo is not to be used as it will void my warantee. Is it safe to use in my R51?????
Thank you for the review. I’ve had industry experience with initially faulty products being re-engineered and re-introduced. Careers are on the line, so there’s a lot of attention to detail. I’m banking on it. I ordered my R51 on Saturday, and I expect to pick it up today. The gun store owner said their shipping is “Stupid fast.” After reading your review, I feel comfortable with my decision. Oh, and a few malfunctions early on are to be expected with any out-of-the-box-new gun. I had to run a thousand or so rounds through my Springfield Armory .45 before I was satisfied with its 100 percent reliability.
