Land of Promise

From Liberty Paradigm Publishing: “Land Of Promise.” Volume 1 of The Counter-Caliphate Chronicles novel series. This novel is available in trade paperback with a cover price of $11.99 and as a Kindle e-book priced at just $3.99.

Land of Promise is a bold piece of speculative fiction that posits the establishment of a Christian nation of refuge, in response to the establishment of a global Islamic Caliphate in the near future. Launched by a pair of free-thinking venture capitalists and an Israeli art dealer, the fictional Ilemi Republic is carved out of a disputed border region between Kenya and South Sudan, with the consent of the governments of these two neighboring nations.

The fledgling Ilemi Republic is a nation of firsts in modern history: The first nation as a dedicated place of refuge for Christians and Messianic Jews; The first nation with absolutely no taxes or levies of any kind; The first nation with no licenses or permits; The first nation with minimalist government; The first nation to reject fiat currency and establish a tri-metallic currency (gold, silver, and platinum); The first nation to have a self-policing citizenry with a citizen’s militia–and hence no standing army and no police force; The first nation with a near absolute right to keep and bear arms, where only weapons of mass destruction are restricted from private ownership; and the first nation without a parliament or congress, where all decisions are made by public referendum.

“In Land of Promise, [Jim Rawles] crafts an exception to the rule: He speculates on proactive efforts to carve out a liberty lifeboat on Earth. It is the last refuge of free people in charge of their own lives. In every other place on Earth that man has put down roots, the usual suspects come out of the woodwork to offer advice on how to run his life and eventually develop systems that strangle that very life out of them. Some of these have been much worse than others as witnessed in the blood-soaked twentieth century.” – Bill Buppert, ZeroGov Forums

Liberators

Released in 2014 by E.P. Dutton: “Liberators: A Novel of the Coming Global Collapse” — the final sequel to Patriots. This novel is set in Canada and the United States.

The book’s ISBN is 978-0525953913. This novel is available in hardcover, in trade paperback, as an e-book, and as an audiobook.

Liberators is set in the same timeframe as the others in the Patriots series, but features many different characters and different locales. It is the longest book in the series, and ties all of the others together. It more deeply explores resistance warfare than the previous novels.

Publishers Weekly called Liberators a “rousing fifth after-the-apocalypse thriller” and noted that “Supporters of the ‘prepper’ movement…will lap up every detail.”

One of the co-editors of Total Survivalist wrote: “My overall assessment is this book was excellent. I tried not to get into spoilers but there is a lot on bugging out by vehicle as well as by foot. Additionally, many interesting lessons for potential insurgency situations as well as more general survivalist ones were present. Furthermore I found it a very enjoyable read with characters you can really relate to and root for as they go through the events that unfold. This is probably the best book in the series.”

Jeff Soyer of North Country Review of Books gave Liberators a three star rating overall, and a four star rating for Writing Style.

Mark Rubinstein of The Huffington Post called the book “…another entertaining and thought-provoking novel, describing steps people can take in the event of a global collapse.”

Expatriates: A Novel of the Coming Global Collapse

A New York Times Bestseller!

Released in 2013

(from E.P. Dutton)

Expatriates: A Novel of the Coming Global Collapse is a contemporaneous sequel to “Patriots.”

This exciting novel is set in Florida, Australia, and The Philippines.

It is also available in hardcover, as an e-book, and as an audio book.

This novel is set in the same timeframe as my others, but features different characters and substantially different locales. My goal with this novel was to show the global ramifications of the economic collapse.

ExpatriatesCover72DPI

Here is a summary, from the publisher’s web site:

When the United States suffers a major socioeconomic collapse, a power vacuum sweeps the globe. A newly radicalized Islamic government rises to power in Indonesia, invades the Philippines, East Timor, Papua New Guinea, and finally northern Australia. No longer protected by American military interests, Australia must repel an invasion alone.

In the thick of these political maneuvers, an American family of missionaries living in the Philippines and a Texan petroleum engineer in Australia must face the fear of being strangers in a world in flux. Are their relatives back home healthy and safe? Will they ever see them again?

In its depiction of the authentic survivalist skills and techniques needed to survive a global socioeconomic meltdown, Expatriates is as informative as it is suspense-filled.
