Swedish Preppers
Sweden’s Preppers Stock up for potential Russian attack. The article begins: “With its wooden outer wall painted in traditional ‘falu red’ paint, and pigs, ducks, chickens and geese in pens outside, the farmyard in a remote part of Scania, southern Sweden, is the very picture of rural calm.
But the owners of this 190-year old house are preparing for a catastrophe. Sten and Lina (not their real names), are part of a small but growing group of Swedish ‘preppers’, readying themselves for a total breakdown of electricity, communication, food supplies, and possibly even the government — most likely, they believe, as a result of a Russian attack.”
Paratus, 2018
Remember, for 2018, the Paratus holiday will fall on Sept. 21st, 2018. From Commander Zero’s web site: “Paratus (from the Latin ‘prepared’) is a one-day ‘holiday’ that basically exists to give an excuse for like-minded folks to exchange appropriate gifts, get together in a social setting, and, perhaps, share some ideas on the subject. It is intended to be a secular holiday but, reflecting the individualistic nature of it’s practitioners, can incorporate a religious element if the practitioner wants. However, the ‘true’ Paratus is strictly secular, non-denominational, genderless, mostly apolitical, and thus available to every demographic that wants to participate.”
Land Grab in South Africa
This headline at Moneyweb caught my eye: Land-seizure talks hit SA’s farming industry. Cyril Ramaphosa has a lot of people worried that there will be a Zimbabwe-style land grab in South Africa. Here is how the Moneyweb article begins: “Farm prices in South Africa have plunged by a third since December.
It’s not just the Rand that’s been hurt by the South African ruling party’s plan to change the nation’s Constitution to make land expropriation without compensation easier.
Confidence indexes and agricultural land prices are slumping in part due to the potential constitutional amendment that the African National Congress says is needed to correct racially skewed land-ownership patterns. With elections looming next year, President Cyril Ramaphosa has embraced land expropriation without compensation, but insists there won’t be a land grab and any policy changes won’t be allowed to damage farming production or the economy.
Some critics say the Constitution already enables the state to tackle land reform, restitution and redistribution, and that changes are unnecessary. The populist Economic Freedom Fighters party, which has won support from young voters in impoverished townships, supports the change and wants all land nationalised. A parliamentary committee is considering possible amendments.”

How To Make Your Group Infiltration-Proof:
A few months ago, Matthew Bracken recommended reading the book, “The Dirty War”, about the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
The book is a long and tedious read, but covers infiltration in great detail.
A successful infiltration can destroy a whole group and all of their preparations.
Unfortunately, what happened in N. Ireland will probably happen here in the U.S. one day soon.
I’m trying to think of an instance in one of JWR’s books that deals with group infiltration?
In film, the Mayor’s son in “Red Dawn” (1984) comes to mind.
In politics, Seth Rich comes to mind.
In the past few decades, in America, there is a long and miserable history of the effects of group infiltration, from “Ruby Ridge” to more recently with the White House. This is an important topic, that most folks are adverse to thinking about. I wonder how much of the LE budgets across the country goes to confidential informants?
