Recipe of the Week: All-Purpose Barbecue Sauce, by B.T.


  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 or 3 drops bottle hot pepper sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tbs instant minced onion


  1. Combine ingredients into a pot.
  2. Cover and simmer on low 2 to 3 hours.

Good on spareribs, chicken, pork chops, and sliced roast beef.
