Recipe of the Week: Curried Almonds, by G.J.

This is one of our families favorite appetizers, and the kids beg for it all the time. it is fast to prepare and since it’s made in the Crock Pot, you can make it while you are doing other things.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs melted butter
  • 1 tbs curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 lb blanched almonds

Directions:

  1. Combine the butter, curry and seasoned salt.
  2. Pour the mixture over the almonds in a Crock Pot and mix to coat well.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours.
  4. Turn to high and cook for 1 to 1.5 hours.

You can serve it hot or cold!
