Tangibles Investing (Remote Retreat Land):
Where to buy remote retreat land? This video is an interesting start: Top 10 most secluded towns in America. The creator of this video missed mentioning a lot of even better examples. These include towns like: Shoup, Idaho; Jarbidge, Nevada; Augusta, Montana; Ukiah, Oregon; Winthrop, Washington, or Wright, Wyoming. Check them out in Google Earth. Most of these are a loooong way from the nearest shopping or from an airport with scheduled flights. America still has plenty of Elbow Room, if you take the time to look.

Please send your economics and investing news tips to JWR. (Either via e-mail of via our Contact form.) These are often especially relevant, because they come from folks who particularly watch individual markets. And due to their diligence and focus, we benefit from fresh “on target” investing news. We often “get the scoop” on economic and investing news that is probably ignored (or reported late) by mainstream American news outlets. Thanks!
