Notes from HJL:

April 19th marks the multiple anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord, known as “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World”. This first battle, leading to our nation’s independence, was the then-dictator’s (United Kingdom King George III’s) FAILED attempt at “gun control”– an act being carried out in too many parts of our USA RIGHT NOW. This first gun control of the colonies was a failure, because of the will and determination of a small part of the population (about 3% actually fought for our Independence actively with many others supporting) to stand up to an oppressive controlling government (England). …

Notes from HJL:

As of Saturday afternoon (April 12, 2014), it appears that the supporters of Cliven Bundy, through their rapid response and willingness to escalate, have successfully forced the hand of the Feds. The court orders still stand, but the BLM has (wisely) decided that to pursue the matter further would endanger the safety of the public and their employees. You can bet that the situation is not resolved, but the inappropriate escalation of the BLM is done for now. Hopefully, this will go back to the courts for resolution rather than to the field. o o o Today we present another …

Notes from HJL:

The Bundy Ranch continues to spiral with the BLM not backing down, and the militias are beginning to show up. This escalation of the conflict is not good and will result in bloodshed, unless the federal government backs down. For those who are not sure about what rights are being violated, I’ve broken it down into several sections here: First Amendment rights. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition …

Notes from HJL:

There are a number of things about the Fed’s handling of the events in Nevada that are absolutely repugnant. First and foremost among them is the idea that in the middle of the desert, they feel they can put up a few fenced off areas for the people to express their First Amendment rights. The BLM thugs would do well to remember that there is already a First Amendment area in place– it’s called the United States of America! In today’s video, you will see unarmed citizens protesting the actions and movements of the BLM. You will also see the …

Notes from HJL:

There is a developing story that has not been reported by the mainstream media yet, and its effects are far reaching. In 1992, federal agents squared off against Randy Weaver and his family/friends in an incident known as “Ruby Ridge”. While the merits of Mr. Weaver’s case can be and has been argued, the bottom line is the Federal Government used inappropriate, overwhelming force and tactics in dealing with the situation. (We might also mention that there was no real disciplinarian action taken against those who were guilty of taking innocent American lives either.) We now have, what appears to …
