I just heard that Richard Cole passed away on April 8, 2019, at age 103. Cole was the last living Doolittle Raider. He was the co-pilot of General Doolittle. (Pictured.) My condolences to Cole’s family. Cole’s passing marks the end of an era.  The great generation that fought World War 2 just about gone.
