I wouldn’t put too much stock in the ‘Democrat darling trio’ AOC, Omar, and Tlaib. They’re rising stars commanding much of the media’s attention, but they’re inexperienced, self-centered, and glory hounds. You can bet your buttons that the Old Guard (Pelosi, Waters, Feinstein, Schumer, et al) is sensing the potential of another 2020 win for Trump due to the antics of these young upstarts, and we’re now seeing the beginnings of efforts to rein them in.
Pelosi does *not* like someone else in her own camp getting the spotlight.

NCIS is a great show (CBS Tuesday at 8:00 PM), one of the very few on TV. Gibbs character, played by Mark Harmon, is a Marine Gunnery Sergeant, now team leader for NCIS home office in DC. Gibbs (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) has 51 rules,so far, we don’t yet know what all the rules are. Oh, and the character oozes masculinity, no wonder it usually ranks #1 in the ratings every week.
The show has been on since the fall of 2003. Worth watching, as is NCIS Los Angeles and NCIS New Orleans.
Rule #51 – Sometimes you’re wrong. This is something everyone should keep in mind when dealing with others.

RE: GMDs. You have to read the comment “specific, credible information indicating that there is an imminent threat to critical infrastructure from an EMP attack” carefully.
It doesn’t say there is no threat. It doesn’t say that enemies don’t have the capability to launch EMP weapons (Russia, China, North Korea and possibly Iran all have that capability).
What is says is that the threat isn’t “imminent”.
On 9/10, there was no specific, credible threat of an imminent attack either. We knew they were up to something, but didn’t know the date, type of attack or targets.
