Preparedness Notes for Friday — September 4, 2020

September 4, 1862 is the fateful day that General Lee invaded the North with 50,000 troops. Historians will banter back and forth about the real reasons for the civil war, but we will probably never fully understand. It is my personal belief that General Lee was gambling on a quick offensive because the South did not have the resources for a prolonged war. Whatever the case was, President Abraham Lincoln trampled the Constitution and created the foundation for the “Big Brother” government we have today.

  1. What ever the reason for the Civil War, the final out come was the death of States Rights. I believe God gave the Victory to the North because He wanted to Preserve the Union of the Nation. It wasn’t because of the morality of the Leadership of the North. Take a minute and Google, was Lincoln, Grant or Sherman a Christian and then Google was Davis, Lee or Jackson a Christian. My only thought is, that the Lord wanted America to be One Nation Under God! Trekker Out

    1. very true remember the spanish american war, WWI and WWII were coming down the pike we needed to be one nation otherwise some very bad thiongs would have happened…

  2. They killed that ANTIFA shooter.
My favorite thing is them “trying to revive him”
When you do CPR compression you push the blood.
Right out all the little holes.
Your only killing him faster. Y’all don’t drink the koolaid on the CPR in your preparedness journey. That action is just to pacify the press.

  3. Jefferson Davis did not believe in the Bill of Rights. Born and raised in E texas, but the Southern Leadership were elitists of the worst sort. Just like those of the same party today. Well they are on both sides to day. Same coin and all that. But the Confederacy was not some rebirth of something great. They reached out to England for support. Tells you where they stood.

    1. This whole resurgence of confederacy interest sadly comes from a lot of ignorance of the highest degree. Point one is very clear that Abraham Lincoln was a federalist and only tried to put down a rebellion and I believe Lee and Lincoln both did not realize they would face a long war. Lincoln was ready to forgive the whole matter for the healing of the states. States rights lost when Lincoln was murdered. Then big government came in. Read Booth’s ties to what is the Federal Reserve today. The South lost the war as they kicked out God in all its constitution. It is amazing when you read the Truth. Point two common argument Lincoln and secession. If this was all about secession then why did Davis threaten Georgia when they wanted to secede from the Confederacy. Oh, and Jefferson also suspended [writs of] habeas corpus. aAd Point three he wanted to send armies to the Jamaicans to keep up with slavery.

  4. I’m with JWR on this one. The dictator Lincoln’s actions, in defiance of our constitution, has lead to the Leviathan government we all are forced to submit to today.

For those who don’t know, without the right of secession, there would have been no constitution. The union of States precedes the constitution. Would that the Articles of Confederation and been amended instead of the coup d’etat fomented by the constitutional convention of 1787.

  5. The state legislatures today have a responsibility to use the power of Article V of the Constitution to call a Convention of States to propose amendments in order to reign in, or in the nuclear case, to dissolve the federal government and then to seriously consider ratifying those amendments. If they don’t take their responsibilities seriously, they will be terminated in the coming revolution along with the federal government.
