“Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.” John 20:19 (KJV)

He is risen! Happy Easter to all my brothers and sisters. Amen
What I love about the resurrection story is how Jesus fulfilled all the spring feasts (Passover, feast of unleavened bread, day of firstfruits, and later shavuot/pentecost). After rising on Saturday night, 3 days and 3 nights after His crucifixion on Wednesday afternoon (exactly as he said, only sign is that of Jonah), he was just in time for firstfruits, which was on Sunday, the day after the first sabbath during the 7 day feast of unleavened bread, which started on Thursday, the day after Passover, which was the day he was crucified, as the Passover lamb. The very day John 20:19 talks about, Jesus was likely, as the high priest, waving the sheaf offering to God on behalf of his people, which may explain why Mary mistook him for a gardener in John 20:15.
God’s runs things on his own schedule, and He doesn’t miss a beat. I can’t wait until Jesus returns to fulfill the Fall feasts (Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles). I personally believe it will be very soon, within the next decade.
