America has been on the path of self-destruction for four generations. Since the end of the Second World War, feminized socialists have gradually gained sociopolitical control of the United States. The left-wing radicals of the 1960s and 1970s are now in their senior years and they hold the reins of power in our society. Those hippies who said: “Never trust anyone over 30” and who complained about “The Man”, now are The Man. They control academia, the mass media, both major political parties, urban law enforcement, labor unions, most Fortune 1,000 corporate Boards of Directors, and some mainline church hierarchies.
The rise of feminism, women entering the workforce, and the advent of birth control have had disastrous effects on the birth rate. To a lesser extent, lesbianism has also removed women from the potential marriage pool. (Perhaps 2.5% of young women in urban areas and 1% in rural areas.) Because of all of these factors, a large percentage of men under 30 now have no real prospect of marrying and fathering children. Many of them will end up as involuntary celibates (“incels”.) And even those of them who do marry face the prospect of divorce initiated by their wives and a court system that favors wives over husbands in most divorce cases, especially if they have children.
Rather than micro-analyzing major trends — all of which are self-evident and already well-documented — I’d like to focus on some solutions. I could complain about the leftists and their absurd schemes and social engineering for page after page, and it would accomplish nothing. So, in this brief essay, I prefer to write about directing the justifiable rage of our nation into something positive.
Rather than just seeing a blind fury reaction against the left, America’s young men should push toward the restoration of liberty-loving conservative Christian values. And instead of perpetuating Big Government, high taxes, and regulations, they should strive toward reducing the size of government, the extent of surveillance, “public-private partnerships”, and Big Tech censorship.
Meanwhile, we should all strive toward minimizing and exiting foreign wars. The past 22 years of The Global War On A Noun (the Global War on Terror), have created a full generation of men that have endured endless overseas deployments, and this has in turn led to high rates of alcoholism, pain pill addictions, divorce, and suicide. These are also young men who understand weapons, tactics, and guerilla warfare strategy. That is a potentially dangerous combination.
If you look at history, most revolutions and counter-revolutions are started, led, and finished by disaffected young men who feel that they are cornered and have no other choice but to fight. This is the position that the dominant culture and The Powers That Be have put America’s 30-something young men into. Again, many of them are combat veterans.
The Backlash
Clearly, the nation’s dominant media-driven “woke” culture is now blatantly depraved. We just endured another hideous corporate-sponsored “Pride” month. Naturally, that triggered a conservative backlash. This is righteous indignation, on a grand scale. The ongoing Budweiser and Target stores boycotts are just the beginning of a groundswell of public opinion against pubic opinions. It was bad enough when Americans were encouraged to accept cross-dressing, surgical alteration of anatomy, and homosexual “marriage”. But in recent years, we’ve been forced to accept it, to fund it with our taxes, and even to participate in it, to some extent. Most recently, the state of Michigan’s legislature passed a law making it a felony and subject to $10,000 fines for repeated “misgendering.” Strident perverts are being assigned positions of great power and influence. Our nation is now very near a “Reign of the Eunuchs” era.
As the inevitable conservative backlash grows, I predict that it will be led by disgruntled incels who have reached the revulsion point. Please pray that they will show restraint. And pray that they will recognize that the genuine solution to our nation’s moral quagmire is less government, more individual responsibility, and a voluntary return to Biblical morality. Mere shunning and boycotting will be sufficient, to bring the pendulum back to the center. There is no need for violent overreaction, and certainly not any reaction that involves creating more government, more laws, or any vindictive exclusions or deportations.
The bywords of the 2020s and 2030s should be: “Just leave us (and our kids) alone”, rather than: “There ought to be a law.” – JWR
