Preparedness Notes for Tuesday — September 28, 2021

On September 28, 1066, William The Conqueror invaded England, landing at Pevensey Bay, Sussex.

Elk Creek Company has been on an ordering hiatus, for the month of September, 2021. I’m just about done traveling, gathering more inventory. I plan to reactivate our shopping cart system on Wednesday, September 29th, and shipments will resume on Monday, October 4th, 2021. Thanks for your patience. We will again be accepting payments in pre-1965 U.S. silver coinage, or in FRNs (with a frequently-changing multiplier) via your checks or USPS PMOs.

Please note that my eldest daughter, Eloise, has been building her own business selling top-quality American-made multitools, bayonets, and knives. The knives range from production, small-batch semi-custom, to full custom. Eventually, she will spin off her own independent business, under the name BladeInAmerica.com.  (That clever name was the brainchild of my friend Commander Zero of the long-running Notes From The Bunker blog.) But for now, she is selling her knives through Elk Creek Company. The profits from any knives, bayonets, or mutli-tools order that you place with Elk Creek Company are destined for her Hope Chest.  – JWR
