The Editors’ Quote of the Day:

“Liberty has never come from the government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of it. The history of liberty is a history of resistance.” – Woodrow Wilson

  1. This coming from the statist that signed the income tax into law and imposed the second plank of the Communist Manifesto on the American people.

    Just sayin….

  2. My sentiments exactly. This coming form one of the worst offended of the Constitution ever. Talk about two faced! Speaking about liberty and individual rights from one side, while undermining personal liberties and increasing gov controls out of the other. For a good insight read “Theodore & Woodrow” by Judge Andrew Napolitano.

  3. This just proves the point that all presidents say good things. Then again, even a stopped clock gets the time right twice a day.

It doesn’t hurt to post the good things these scumbags say. However, we must keep things in context and make sure we remind ourselves, and others, of the godawful things that they do.

I’m happy to see the regulars here know their history about Woodrow Wilson.
