The Editors’ Quote of the Day:

“Work hard, do your best, and keep your word. Never get too big for your britches. Trust in God, have no fear, and never forget a friend.” – Harry Truman (Pictured is Truman, at a U.S. Army training encampment at Fort Riley, Kansas, in 1926)

  1. Harry Truman seems to me to have been possibly the most servant minded President I am aware of. By that I mean behaving as a public servant and working toward the good of the general public. Maybe that is an illusion but he seems to have been a rare man in politics.

    1. Learn about “Silent Cal” ,Calvin Coolidge, known for touring government programs/projects without saying much but taking notes in a little book with the insight of a accountant/engineer. He would be the nightmare of any bureaucrat,if they didn’t kill him
