Harry Truman seems to me to have been possibly the most servant minded President I am aware of. By that I mean behaving as a public servant and working toward the good of the general public. Maybe that is an illusion but he seems to have been a rare man in politics.

Learn about “Silent Cal” ,Calvin Coolidge,known for touring government programs/projects without saying much but taking notes in a little book with the insight of a accountant/engineer. He would be the nightmare of any bureaucrat,if they didn’t kill him
