  1. re:
    EMP, CME, flood, drought, empty grocery stores, no propane delivery

    ‘It’ is my policy to prepare.

    The Continuity Of Government Agents would be way down the list.

    * * * * *

    Here is the warning… without any ‘targeted approaches’ by the government agents:
    * EMP will happen.
    * CME will happen.
    * Floods and droughts will happen.
    * Grocery stores will be empty.
    Before, during, or after, the government agents are not a factor. Indeed, the government agents preventing ‘adversarial events’ sounds like a bad movie from the 1950s.

    A ‘stakeholder’

  2. It is unlikely that the utilities will spend the huge amounts of money to harden their systems. If it doesn’t come from the tax payers, don’t expect it to happen.
    I also expect that it is seen as a means to an end to give certain parties the absolute control over a decreased and desperate population that will give in to anything to recover from such a devastating event. Previous administrations did nothing and future ones will not either.
    Only the current one will dare to do what the country needs to survive.
    Prepare.

    1. Buck, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Hardening of the National Grid will likely require a modest rise in electricity rates.

      If the worst case scenarios of 50-90% fatalities post-EMP are accurate, its a no-brainer. Pay a little more for electricity and keep the power on.

      But government moves slowly. We are a long way from implementing hardening.

  3. The Special Counsel Nothingburger:

    This was a very successful Rearguard action that cost freedom loving citizens national reciprocity, suppressor deregulation, the repeal of ObamaCare, and has given us more gun control.

  4. Intense Looting in Venezuela:

    Socialists cull their populations of the sick, old, weak, and those that do not conform to their ideals. This is a murderous man made disaster brought about by starvation, lack of medical care, gulags, and death squads. What we are seeing in Venezuela is by design of their leaders. They are invoking Darwin, in that only the fit will survive.

    And, it is coming soon to CONUS.

  5. The Muellor investigation enriched 19 lawyers by providing them with 2 years of billable hours that were incredibly expensive to the tax payers with absolutely zero results on their stated mandate purpose. They used 1000’s of hours of other federal man power to pursue things that were so far afield from their purpose to perpetuate this rape of the taxpayers when it was very clear that they had no basis for a long investigation. Some will say it was worth it because they caught a few crooks along the way, I cry BS, these crooks were the reason we have the FBI and the IRS investigation departments and I guarantee they work a lot cheaper that a bunch of patrician lawyers.
    This miscarriage illustrates that Congress needs to revisit the funding, length of time, oversight and limiting of the scope of these “Investigations” to the stated mission. I also find it repulsive that this was all based on looking for Russian Collusion when there is no federal crime of Collusion on the books. This expensive political garbage needs to be stopped, both sides are to blame for this behavior. If there is evidence the proper agency should be assigned to look for crimes, not create Congressional Dog and Pony Shows.

  6. If the report had incriminated Trump, there is no way so-called conservatives would have accepted. There is now way Commies will accept it.

    To believe that the Trump “witch hunt” is over is to discount the 50-year history of Communism that resulted in the deaths of 70 million people. Our irreconcilable differences are well… irreconcilable. We need a divorce.

    Sadly this old coot believes so-called Christians and conservatives are blinded by bias. Today they bow at the altar of a new tri-God; Trump, Republicans and Israel. If I am wrong, let’s hear your argument.

    Brandon Smith was right, “Never underestimate the cognitive dissonance of people blinded by bias.”

      1. OldParatrooper, on what basis would you believe any report by your government? They report on everything. Examples: JFK and the Warren Commission Report, Waco, Ruby Ridge, the 2 planes taking down 3 skyscrapers and the 9/11 Commission Report, WMDs. Give us some Big Brother reports that you believe were true.

  7. Special Counsel Report

    I’ve always said that I would respect the conclusions of the Mueller Report because I believed Mueller would be absolutely fair and his credentials were
    impeccable. That from both sides of the isle.

    I’ll reserve judgment till I myself read the Report un-redacted. It happened with the Nixon tapes and papers and that’s the only way I can determine for myself. I do not want a politically appointed individual (the AG) determining for me even though I think he is a fair person. My money for the Report – my Report for reading.

    In a courtroom once you start saying..”well, she told me he said”…it’s generally not allowed as evidence because its “hearsay.” I want to see the raw data myself to
    make my determination. I wonder how an author would feel about his 400 page novel being reduced to 4 pages.

    Well. I’ve ordered the Mueller Report on Amazon and it will be released April 30th or sooner if the AG finishes his work before that date. Go figure. Don’t know how that is possible but stranger things have happened. They do say D.C. is leaky!

    I never believed Trump engaged in conspiracy. But I certainly believed he attempted to obstruct justice. Mueller did not make a determination on that and I am interested in finding out if that was his decision or another’s and the reason why.

    Judge Napolitano from Fox said you’ll find evidence of both conspiracy and obstruction of justice all over the report when it comes out. That is presumptuous.
    I’m not interested in his opinion either. Just want to make my own.

  8. Can I please fuss about a word I don’t like? The word is “redacted”. The reality is “censorship”. It’s so nice when one can hide reality under a snug word blanket. Take “final solution”. It really sounds nice, as if someone is going to solve all the world’s problems. In reality it meant genocide. When talking about censorship, please call it what it is.

  9. Thank you, Anonymous, for putting the Venezuelan situation into succinct perspective. Brevity is the essence of wit. I hadn’t quite come around to that conclusion myself, but now that you’ve said it, it fits!
