It is nice that you have to read the court documents to find out that he also was caught in a drug sting with over a kilo of meth, was part of an on going Mexican drug gang operation that had been making false documents for 10 years or so, that would have made him 14 when “he” started the operation, and was an illegal alien, could be one of Obama’s “dreamers”? Have we taken “hate” speech to the point that the news no longer dares or wishes to tell us the truth if it doesn’t fit some political criteria? Is that area one of the “sanctuary” areas for our poor unfortunate brothers trying to escape a life of poverty and crime by coming to the USA and bettering themselves?

I stand corrected. In case anyone is wondering: In the UK, Class A drugs include: cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, and LSD. I assume that the quantity was small, otherwise he would have received a 7 year sentence.

When I was in the Marine Corps, at the end of the fiscal year, we always made sure that we spent any money that remained in the unit’s account before the end of the year in the belief that it was better to spend money that was not needed at that point than to take the chance of coming up short in the future. As long as the government maintains a policy of cutting the budgets of military units that don’t spend all of the allocated funds, the spending at the end of the fiscal year is likely to continue.
About the lobster, I heard on the radio yesterday that one caller said that while he was in Iraq and Afghanistan, Friday night was Lobster and Crab Night. Does anyone have a problem with that?

Me thinks that all of the guns the Americans sent to England in 1940, and all of the lend-lease weapons, airplanes, tanks, etcetera, America sent to them from 1940 to 1945 was a colossal waste of time, money, and effort.
We should have let the Germans invade England, because what the Germans wanted to do to them, the English have done to themselves and now have no one else to blame.
Murica is not coming to save them this time.

Could someone please clarify the Resolution that was just overwhelmingly passed in the House by a 405 to 23 vote that is suppose to stop anti-semitic speech along with other so-called hate speech. If I’m not mistaken this looks like the same thing that gets people jailed in the UK and Canada. Correct me if I’m wrong. Another slippery slope?Trekker Out
It is indeed a slippery slope. I have a real heart for Israel. But to legislate against freedom of speech would be a huge mistake. What the legislators are doing to protect Jews could next be applied to protecting Muslims. The end result might be making it a FEDERAL CRIME to speak out against the injustices and cruelty of Islam. Beware of the law of unintended consequences! I’d much rather live in a world with un-kind speech allowed, than live in a speech-censored dictatorship. Thankfully what was passed (H. Not all speech is protected by the 1st Amendment as the Constitution was written and is actionable in a court of law…
1) Slander
2) Defamation
3) Public safety – (yelling “FIRE!” in a crowed movie theater)
4) Terrorist speak/Treason
5) Lying in a court of law
I’ll throw a few more in according God’s law for us Christians:
1) Blasphemy
2) Swearing
4) Bearing false witness of our brothers/sisters
In regards to the house resolution on anti-Semitic speech. What a shame, the guilty party was not disciplined at all, what a surprise. This type of useless legislation is so typical of liberals exposing good thoughts rather than address real problems. Nero would have been real proud of them if they were in Rome. WE CERTAINLY ARE NOT GETTING OUR MONIES WORTH OUT OF OUR GOVERNMENT.
This slippery slope is now getting grease and soap applied. No one ever tries to ban non-offensive speech. I am not a fan of Omar, and I’m not against Israel. I do, however, have a BIG problem with elected officials and bureaucrats maintaining dual citizenship with Israel or any other country.

Robinson is indeed a former soccer fan hooligan. He has never been charged with drug possession, and I see no credible evidence that he has used illegal drugs. Show me the evidence.
