Good morning everyone. Dumb question possibly but for those with the freeze dryers, what does the freeze dried food store in after it’s run through the dryer.
Freshly freeze dried food should be stored in airtight food grade containers. By the way, you should do the same for any big #10 can of freeze dried food that you open and do not completely consume. If your re-pack the remaining portion ASAP, then it will have a 5+ year shelf life. And if you vacuum pack it, then the shelf will be even longer.
