My kind of guy. Goes to war with the Huns with ancient weaponry, kills his share with that weaponry, and goes home to live his life. I laughed, imagining the surprised look on a hun’s face as he falls, an arrow sticking out of his chest.
When I was younger, I always thought it would be fun, if we were somehow invaded, to wear moccasins to battle, use a bow and/or tomahawk to slay the enemy, and leave their corpses minus the scalp. Imagine the psychological effect on asian or other foreign troops. There are also ways to make it appear that a vampire inhabits the AO, if opposing troops might be superstitious….
Mad Jack looks like he’s standing next to Peter Lawford. I seem to recall that MacArthur went into battle during WW1, leaving the trenches armed with nothing but a riding crop. When I went into battle in VN, I was armed with an M16 and a P38, (can opener) and people still give odds on which was more lethal. Old Gray Wolf, I am a scalper. Some one invades this country, oops, too late. I once talked to an old member of the Werhmacht who told me he would rather face the Russians and their artillery than have to deal with the partizans in Yugoslavia, back in the day.
