Here’s the problem with a ‘universal minimum wage’ or whatever you want to call it. All it does is turn that wage into the new zero through inflation. If everybody has $10.00 then it’s not 10 anymore, it’s now the base floor, or zero. Everyone will raise prices to reflect that you have a known quantity, 10.

    The Reset
I mentioned here some time back to watch Deutsche Bank. The tentacles run far and wide even past Europe. They have the world’s largest derivatives book and the stock shares have been behaving as if traders and investors know something is wrong.

What Mr. Rutherford, who I otherwise respect, doesn’t grasp or want to admit is that the United States is not a nation. It’s a country with several, by my count at least six, nations residing within it. It’s held together at gunpoint but this won’t last much longer. Many people on the right and the left don’t get this, We the People are several nations now. Almost everyone gets this at a gut level but it can be hard to say out loud.

    1. “here’s the problem with a ‘universal minimum wage'”

entirely misses the point. the only place anyone puts free cheese is in a trap. the point is not to hand out free money, but to erode any possibility of getting money for work, so that the welfare office becomes your boss and there’s nowhere else to go.

      1. Gman, Cheese in a trap, made me laugh. Both my point and yours can be, and are, true. I was commenting on the economics of it, not the social implications. I didn’t ‘entirely misses the point’ I made a separate valid point. I’m well aware of the effect of free stuff on the human soul and so is satan. My point was to show how free stuff for a few effects us all economically.

….. the United States is not a nation. It’s a country with several, by my count at least six, nations residing within it. It’s held together at gunpoint but this won’t last much longer. I agree. Then again the uSA was never a single nation. It was not designed that way. There is no State of America. There is the united States of America. This is how it was originally written, with the lower case “u” on united. We were originally 13 nations, now 50. The States are called States for a reason, they are the sovereigns, not Washington D.C.

The constitution that our “representatives” swear their allegiance to appears to be the Constitution for the New States of America. Written around 1960 by the Ford Foundation, it divides the uSA into 5 regions, the States become super counties, and we become virtual property of the elites. Our rights are only those granted by the elites, our betters, and are severely limited. It reads like it could have been written by a bunch of Nazis. Wait, maybe it was written by a bunch of Nazis.

You should read it sometime, you will see what I mean about that being the constitution that is actually in play right now. After reading it you will understand why we must defeat the elites and all their evil minions in the Deep State, the Swamp.

Be afraid, be very afraid, then be very very angry.

  2. Hurricane preps for Florence from Raleigh: Already prepped well, so no big work other than bringing in the patio furniture and testing out the generator. Was out observing behavior of the “panic preppers” at Costco and Walmart. By Monday PM (4 days before expected landfall), all bottled water was sold out and people were still buying frozen foods (great idea when you are expected to lose power for several days). Costco was saying at the door they would have more water in the morning. Meanwhile, at the Lowe’s and Home depot, they still had bottle water. So if necessary for those last minute items, it would pay to think outside the box.

This behavior shows that most Americans are clueless about even a potential natural disaster and would no idea what could happen in a TEOTWAWKI scenario….. In a true crisis, really thinking outside the box might pay off. Example: i.e. if you need fertilizer for your TEOTWAWKI survival garden, go to the local golf course landscaper’s shed.

  3. Now would be a good time to purchase physical silver. I looked at kitco.com, and spot silver was (at that moment) $13.9x/oz, and continues falling.

  4. Post 9-11 America “We are no longer a nation that takes pride in their role as the primary representative democracy.” This premise is a common problem among patriots today. We were founded by the intentional design of the founders a constitutional republic with democratic representation, but never a democracy, as all democracies end in tyranny as we are witnessing here in America. Our founders abhorred democracies.

  5. John Whitehead nailed it.

And go buy a hog from a local farmer, get it butchered and put it in the freezer. While you are at it, contract for next year, with a deposit, because the swine fever freak-out will come next summer and local pigs will be in short supply and factory-raised pork may have supply issues and prices will go up.

  6. Re. Post 9/11 America

Just do the math. Two airplanes taking down three skyscrapers? Never before in history had a single steel-framed skyscraper collapsed due to fire. But three collapse on 9/11? Think.

While two of the towers may have been hit by planes hijacked by Muslims, the THREE towers were taken down NOT by planes and fire, but by pre-engineered and installed controlled demolition.

Over 3,000 professional architects and engineers (including myself) have risked their careers to expose the truth about 9/11. AE911Truth.org

Ask yourself two questions. WHO had the capability and access to pull off that highly technical/complex feat? Secondly, who would benefit for 17 years of war against Muslims in the Middle East? THINK, unless of course your agenda is more important than the truth.
