Preparedness month, here in Wisconsin, means having more breaker rock and sand delivered. With the non-stop rains and flooding, I doubled my normal on hand supply of both. Luckily, we’re high enough up that our major issue is with the driveway washing away with these heavy rains. Thankfully we haven’t had to bag sand, just fill in the driveway. Sand bags and a big pile of sand are always useful to have on hand. This summer’s constant rains are a firm reminder that preparedness comes in many forms.
