This guys’ not a climate scientist.
Abrupt Climate Change is going to tear this civilization apart, this century.
It’s actually very simple.
We were supposed to reach Peak Oil by the Seventies, and nothing happened. We were supposed to witness nuclear war by the Eighties, and nothing happened. Political upheavals, economic collapse, pandemics, meteoric impacts, supervolcanoes, ad nauseam. Nothing happened.
Yet, we still prepared.
I dare say few of us actually believed things are gonna go this way. Feared, yes. Considered, obviously. But actually believed that at least one of this scenarios will happen, that we have to start prepping in no time lest it catches us “pants down”? Most likely no. But if so, then why did we prepare?
Because it’s not the matter of belief, it’s the matter of preparedness. We prepare for a collapse caused by a meteoric strike, a solar flare, a pandemic – liberals would call all of this illogical. I would call not prepping also for global warming illogical.
