Even though it’s early and my coffee hasn’t kicked in yet, I can see this is an important article. Thank you to whoever found it and put it right in front of me. We have a tendency to keep on believing what we always used to believe, but once in awhile something snaps us out of our normalcy bias. This article is one such thing.
Mr. Whitehead’s articles can often be found on http://www.lewrockwell.com along with articles by such as Judge Andrew Napolitano, Eric Peters, and true Libertarian/Americans.
This is a salad of some actual issues and a whole lot of paranoid crap. To what point? Let’s fix things that are wrong and do not get distracted by the bizarre thinking. It’s like listening to George Noory radio and then going out looking for little green men who landed in our backyard. I’m in favor of common sense approach to problems. There is no need to lump a bunch of stuff together and hype phony stories to try to make it all look far worse than it is.
What’s paranoid? I see a bunch of things that are already in existence and in use against us. You ignore that at your peril. History is full of folks who rode cattle cars and worse, never willing to believe that they were going to their deaths. People who allowed themselves to be disarmed, never admitting to themselves that there was a reason why the government of the time wanted them disarmed. Governments have killed their own citizens by the millions since they were able to do so. You think ours won’t? You are a trusting soul if you believe that. Of course, these folks dont want to kill us, just farm us for profit. So they are better, I suppose. In some way or other. Maybe. But rest assured, they will try to kill you, me and anyone else they think will be a problem for them. They have already proved it.
There are real threats to our freedoms. However of the A-Z threats listed 90% of them were fake threats and require paranoia to believe in. That is my point, pure and simple. Some years ago I listened to a radio show where the host insisted there were black helicopters. I listened for three years before he went off the air (a good story in that). Over that time all the stories of black helicopters were fake. He used to claim that airline pilots would tell hem they could see government concentration camps being built out in the boonies (from 33,000 feet). Another fake story. All of these things appeal to us, but understand they are appealing to our paranoia. Don’t conflate them all with the real issue of gun control and certainly don’t try to tell me because there is a threat that we will get more gun control that is proof all the other fake threats are real too. Let’s concentrate on what is real.
Is all lost? Is there a way to resist and reclaim? Are we left without hope? Write an A to Z on how to defend and defeat. Please.
sadly i dont feel there is a way to defend and defeat when the local leos are armed with grenade launchers.
That is defeatist thinking and so wrong it is hard to tell you all the reasons why. A grenade launcher is pretty terrifying when it is pointed at you in your home. But then, so is a suppressed 9mm pistol or a sawn down shotgun, especially when it is mere inches from your still-sleepy eyes. And everyone sleeps. Even the guy packing a grenade launcher in his day job. All you gotta do is make sure the war comes to his house before he brings it to yours. And there are nearly unlimited ways to make that happen. You can’t start telling yourself all is lost when the ball hasn’t yet been put into play. All the military hardware and training, the drones and gadgets, none of it is enough to kill liberty in America. What will kill liberty in America, and has pretty much done so already, are the myriad emasculated serfs telling themselves and the rest of us that all is lost rather than standing up together and refusing to be abused. Not pleading for the abuse to stop, but making it clear by any means necessary that this will no longer be tolerated. We are done being tyrannized. Your move. Two sentences every American needs to take to heart and mean it when they say them. There are things worse than dying. Living in slavery to people who have no interest in your happiness is one of them. Not only have Americans apparently lost their balls, their brains appear to have been pacified as well.

The sentiment is appreciated. The time may come for that to be tested. For now, we study, we train, we watch, we gather intel, we deepen logistics. We wait for that proper time and place. You would be remiss in your own security and interests if you allowed me, a stranger to you, to draw you into a fight of my choosing at a time and place not vetted by you as being appropriate. We should have “balls”, as we are men, but as we are not children, we should also have brains. To run to a fight without a clear and effective strategy for victory is simply suicidal, and detrimental to liberty. To do it on the say so of a person not extremely well known to you and trusted by you is asking for education in the form of hard knocks.
Hopefully you have already a group of trusted longterm friends of similar mindset. You need them, and it is getting really late in the game to create something like that in the time we have left. I have a clan of people I have known for at least 20 years, some more. I trust a few others that I have known for less time, but nobody I have known less than ten years. It takes time to build relationships and respect that one can trust in the fight that is coming. Such friendships may be forged as a result of that fight, but we are at a place right now where one must be careful where they place trust. The opponent has eyes and ears everywhere. Even here, especially here. Beware of those who would pledge their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to you if you are not a longtime friend of theirs they are at best naive, at worst an agent of the oppositon. I assure you, the founders of this nation did not place their necks on the block with one another after a mere meeting at a tea house. They had known one another for years, sometimes decades. The fight deepened their friendships in some cases. But they already valued and respected one another when the fight started, because they had known and observed one another for years before.

Local LEOs use grenade launchers to deploy CS and other non-lethal gases. You’re making a big jump here. LE has used them for 50 plus years. Local LE doesn’t have access to military grade munitions for their grenade launcher. Oh, wait you can own one too, if you complete the NFA paperwork. More paranoia by twisting the facts to create a fake store where there isn’t one.

Nice story, would God it were that easy. I wonder, if such s reaction to a “plan” were to take place, would it outlast the effects of weaponized bacteria or viruses? Or other “incentives” to quit? Do we really think these psychopaths would not use any and all means at their disposal to maintain control and avoid the gallows they so richly deserve? Is our resolve strong enough to fight through that to the ending scenes of this story? I am game, and I understand the risks and potential costs. But how many of us understand these things and still stand ready to face the whirlwind and fight through to a better day?

It isn’t so much about where is the place that isn’t like this but where are the people and institutions that used to resist and abolish governments that trampled on our God given rights. We traded away liberty for temporary security.

Events will take a hand in what transpires (due mostly to all the horrible mistakes and choices) and then reality will be the norm again. Think we’re all so dependent on the grid and all our tenuous holds on modern civilization? FedGov is twenty times more dependent. Something will happen, planned or unplanned, and when the ride stops, look for the return of feudal lords, brutal and nasty conditions, and a lot fewer “celebrity” worship people. Frankly, I’d like to see an end to the ceaseless distractions of no importance or value, and go just one place where everyone wasn’t on their phone. The outdoors beckon, and that’s where I’m going. I can’t clean this whole mess up and I didn’t make it. Trust in the Lord. In Him is my only Hope.
Well now, Mr. Whitehead is certainly not someone that would be called “a man of few words”. Unfortunately most of them are adjectives chosen to evoke fear, anxiety, anger, and other emotions that tend to interfere with logical analysis and cloud thoughtful consideration. That makes me suspicious of his motives, but I will click on the links and hope to find detailed information about his various concerns. I will probably even buy his book — which I suspect might be at least one of the primary reasons for this article. Not that there is anything wrong with that; I am very much in favor of the profit motive. I just hope that my emotions have not been whipped into a frenzy without good cause and that his information will benefit us all!
We need to elect a Sheriff that knows he works for the people. If you ask a deputy who he works for, he will answer “The police department”. He works for us, until that is realized cops are useless. The Federal Government can only enforce Federal Laws. The states have no obligation to enforce Federal Law.
California is a great example. Trump wants local support on immigration, They do not have to enforce Federal Law, but they will pick and choose which laws to enforce. The liberal State they are
Thanks for your article. I was recently unsettled this past spring upon going to Disney World for the first time since I was a kid. Fingerprint scanners to enter! Since we had traveled from far and away and pre-paid for our tickets, I basically felt compelled to go with the flow and scan my fingerprint to enter.
My guess is that Disney now owns the largest voluntary collective of fingerprints in the world. Fingerprints that can easily be accessed by the police for any number of reasons.
I’m a police officer and I do agree with almost everything you wrote. At least where I live though, The amount of paperwork necessary to conduct investigations is so massive that it nearly grinds the machine to a halt. Our state crime lab is so backlogged that they are no longer processing fingerprints for property crimes.
The courts in our county are so overloaded with pending criminal cases, submitted by police officers, that they routinely get forgotten about unless both the police officer and the victim become the squeaky wheel.
I agree that all of those spy capabilities you mentioned exist but I think the machine is so overloaded that the system seems to be grinding to a slow halt. Or maybe the machine will just become more selective on who it targets.
Our local city and county recently agreed to spend $30 million on homelessness. The population is around 650,000 people. That’s $46 for every man woman and child. If you take away the kids, the retired and other non-working citizens I’d bet you’re looking at at least $100 per working citizen for only one societal problem.

When you put all the things that you read and view, it really brings to light the reality of our government. Nice write. This coming from an x military, school teacher, police officer. Our rights and values are so far gone and have been eroded slowly and right under our noses. America better wake up and take control of their small towns and cities.
We understand things are bad. They will improve if enough people are paying attention to vote correctly while Trump is president. Support the people who are fighting for us. Freedom isn’t free.

I mean his every word is monitored, every keystroke of his computer logged and sent to the Deep State.
He cannot travel anywhere that he is not tracked.
All of his wealth in whatever form is known by government and can be seized at anytime.

No doubt his food has certain chemicals in it for behavior modification to induce even more paranoia.

Nothing
For me I have freedom to travel and I do not care if some government rube is tracking my every move, who cares. I can spend my money on anything I want, again who cares if it’s tracked.
I can carry whatever self defense system I want, totally legal.
I do not stay up at night wondering how the Deep State is going to get me. What a colossal waste of time and energy.
I have lived many decades and never seen the black helicopters over my backyard and the men in Black are not outside my door.
Just trust in Christ and be saved. I know how things end, Christ wins against the whole evil world system.
With a stroke of a pen the Republican’s NDAA destroyed most of our Bill of Rights and what action did we take? Like Samuel Adams stated, if we are not willing to literally put skin in the game we don’t deserve liberty.
Wake me up if patriots ever declare their independence and are ready to literally refresh the tree of liberty.

Hmm, this article sounds familiar, like I’ve read similar here in just the past few days. Now where was it I saw that…
Maybe some of us here need to re-read “Atlas Shrugged”, and maybe “1984”.
It’s clear, these letters add up to a lot of four letter words….. the truth hurts, this is a very prime example. The move to world government has been marching along for decades, with emphasis on exponential growth coupled to technologies. They really can digitally catalogue all the data they generate…and then reference any one individutal or local as desired.
(I wonder if the processors for BItcoin are actually doing a lot of their work for them? Eating up the power they do just to run mathematical algorithm’s seems so 1980. Just saying.)
The camera’s and facial recognition certainly support crime fighting, yet abused it is absolute control. We see the move to make water as expensive as gas. Food prices set to skyrocket with inflation, after the deflation ends it’s erosion on our society, making the rich richer and the poor poorer.
We see a few trolls post above. What would you expect, they have programs for this, actual paid trolls by our government. A government that made lying to it’s population legal in the NDAA of 2013. Propaganda is non stop, 100% in all forms of media and entertainment, including sports………
Man caused global warming debunked, yet still promoted heavily due to it’s role in stripping people of their money, controls. The march to electic everything, making fossil fuels, oil, coal, propane, fire wood, illegal. They can tax your electric meter. imagine the control generated by this? It’s huge, it’s diabolical really, knowing there is no shortage of fossil fuels, little environmental issues found in true science.

Plenty of Americans understand this, and there will be serious battles in the future, win some lose some…but the final battle leads to total victory. So don’t be weak, stand against the evil with Jesus the Christ as your absolute motivation. He likes that. It is the path to victory, there is no other.
