I didn’t know that Ruger had SR 1911 compact out there, or I would have waited a little longer. I agree with you Pat about carrying a 9 mm 1911 verses a 1911 .45. I picked up a Springfield armory R O compact in a 9 mm, although I have been using a IWB sticky type holster. mainly because I haven’t found anything I like. there are times that I forget I have it on me ( hope I don’t try to go though airport security with it by forgetting that I have it on me ) . just saying
This new Ruger SR1911 compact just came out about 3-weeks ago…it was a surprise to me as well…and I think Ruger might have another 1911 in a different configuration coming out later this year.
