  2. We’ve seen Great Britain asking and accepting sporting rifles from the US during WW II to arm their Home Guard with, to banning guns for the most part, to now placing heavy restrictions on knives; Are cricket bats next?

    Owning your health; I have declined treatment and medication after researching them on the web. Pharmaceutical/Doctor relationships. As a spouse of a medical professional I have been to a few catered dinner/presentations by drug reps advertising the latest greatest wonder drug. These are not cheap to put on when inviting all of the clinic staff plus spouses. It is definitely a scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours relationship. To be fair, these dinner presentations happen in many professional fields.

  4. Another problem they have in the UK, imported with their “refugees” are acid attacks. They will have acid in water bottles and when in an argument or an attack will spray the acid in to the infidels face. Their answer to this problem? Yep, banning acid.

    Wonder how many cars they have in the UK, with an acid filled battery just sitting there on the street waiting to jump out and attack an infidel.

    While stationed in Subic Bay they had all these tourist shops with crazy knives and swords that they made out of car leaf springs. Cut and polished, chromed and proof you can make things any way you can imagine and the government can’t keep up wit that.

  7. Can you reference the comment “there is a questionable relationship between drug manufacturers (of whom doctors are typically major stockholders) and doctors themselves”?
    I’m a physician, so I obviously know a lot of physicians, but I can only think of one (dermatologist) in my area who has been significantly invested with “Big Pharma.”
    I don’t question the premise…patients absolutely need to educate themselves. Back when people had support of extended families, they didn’t need to rely on their doctor to walk them through every low grade fever, gastroenteritis or sniffle.

  8. Re: knife bans, the UK government has absolutely no idea how ingenious people wishing to do harm to others can be. A shiv or shank can be made of almost anything: I once confiscated a wooden dagger from a young “underprivileged” kid at a summer camp! He had pulled it on me!

    To prevent knife attacks, they need to ban all wood, plastics, bone and metal, as well as cloth and epoxies (homemade micarta!). Then we have to go after stones and cord, which can be used to make an impact weapon like a slung shot, which is both lethal and easy to conceal. Anything heavy and anything which can be sharpened can be turned into a weapon, with very little effort. All vehicles, from the smallest scooter to the largest lorry, must be banned “for the public good.”

    The UK ban is doomed to failure from the outset. Public safety will not improve. I feel truly saddened to see what is being done to the people of the UK.

      TO add to your premise, I was taught, “The mind is the only weapon. Everything else is just a tool.”

      And to add on top of THAT, The Four Esses:
      Suppress
      Shoot
      Shovel
      Silence

      If the serfs would learn those lessons, they wouldn’t be serfs.
