I checked out Mark Podolsky’s Land Geek web site. It looks like a sales site. You have to give them your e-mail to get any information. They do have podcasts available at the bottom of the page which, based on the descriptions are about network marketing or “passive income.” Looks like his passive income is selling his “knowledge” to others. This may be a valid site, but I would be very careful.
More of a scam than a sales site.

Flipping land is a VERY risky endeavor. There are no tax benefits to owning raw land, land prices fluctuate much more than developed property, and it really should be invested in only as a long term investment.
