  1. Does anyone have a recommendation for a tiny book to carry in a bug-out bag or get home bag? I am wanting something that covers basics on edible plants, first aid, and other basic survival skills.

    1. SAS Survival Guide (Collins Gem) by John ‘Lofty’ Wiseman Just buy a second hand copy from Amazon, it’s almost as good as the ‘big book’

  2. @ Rose, the SAS pocket survival guide may be what you are looking for.

RE: Building a shed by yourself; I do quite a few projects by myself and with intermittent help. I have found the Vise Grips (11R) are a big help. These are and were used by me as a metal fabricator in place of C clamps. They will hold two 2×4’s and are a big help for temporary braces, laminating , holding and hoisting plywood sheeting, carrying and hoisting metal roofing. While I have a few left over from my welding days (retired now),as a third hand, I find them indispensable. Four should get you thru just about any big project.
