Baby deaths soar in Venezuela crisis – This is what always happens when Socialism rules a nation! It may take longer or shorter, but HISTORY tells the truth! America is becoming a socialist nation, though still a very wealthy one. It will just take longer unless we change course, which to MY mind does NOT appear to be happening. This is primarily because Americans are no longer educated in the proper function of government. We do not know what our Founding Fathers knew, so if one wants to really know and understand economics and a free government one needs to be self taught. The books are out there! A good start is the reading of the novels of Ayn Rand and the works of Hayek and Von Mises (among others) to understand capitalism and economics. You’ll learn how money works! To understand the “other side”, Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”, which is ruling the Democratic Party and many in the Republican Party. Hillary Clinton did her college thesis on this book! – H.L.

EMP

Alen Nitzberg interviewed Dr Peter Pry (Executive Director of the EMP Task Force on National and Homeland Security) on his show and discussed the background and current dangers of an EMP on our infrastructure. First Aid on the Battlefield, Convoys, Night Vision and More

Brad, at FullSpectrumSurvival has posted a YouTube video of an interview with David from MI-TAC.Net – a current overseas contractor. David covers the basic information of different types of armor, running convoys without night vision, trauma first aid on the battlefield, and the first aid items that we need for the coming crises. It’s long at almost two hours but very good information.

Reader B.B. sent in the link to this article on Airport Facial Recognition. Apparently, the U.S. government is rolling out a plan to reshape airport security around facial recognition. It’s intended to play off of passport photos and visa applications of visitors leaving the U.S. so that they can be documented upon re-entry. However, there are concerns that to be effective, it will eventually grow into a complete biometric experience for even U.S. citizens. Even domestic travelers who are citizens would be recorded and indexed.

Home Schooling

We’ve shared this video before, but it bears repeating. There should be no doubt that the public school system has very little to do with educating a child in the basics and everything to do with indoctrinating the child. The video is only a little over seven minutes long and well worth the watch.

Islam

A school in Detroit is holding a Muslim Girls Only Prom since Muslim girls are not allowed to fraternize with young men. Putting aside the public school issues of the traditional prom for a moment, reader H.L. wanted us to notice the photo of the girls. How many do you see that look like they are from the middle east? Given how women are treated in the Islam culture, this is very disturbing. Yet another reason to homeschool your children.
