With all the complaining in the media today about the American gun culture, it’s interesting to note the the American Indian had a very strong influence in it. The gun culture is rooted in minorities.
American Gun Culture
This report on the American gun culture actually outlines one of the reasons Britain and the U.S. differ so much over the issue of firearms. The influence of American Indians. America’s gun culture is a descendant of American Indian arms culture. The English provided the firearms. The Indians provided the fiercely independent accepted ability to fight for your own safety and survival and the willingness to take up arms. When these two cultures collided and merged, we ended up with the independent American attitude that takes their own safety into their own hands. Zimbabwe’s Non-Coup
From Vice News: Zimbabwe’s Resistance Leader Says Mugabe Is “History” (HBO). Like we said when we first heard the news…If it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck…You get the idea. While the news report and interviews initially show that the military coup has the backing of the people, there is an insidious statement from the Resistance leader buried in the report. At the 3:43 mark in the video, the Resistance leader’s joy is now expressed as confusion. The president and generals have released a statement and have addressed nothing that the resistance expected them to.
Google Admission on Tracking
Reader DSV sent in this article showing that Google now admits that it grabs data on individuals locations from Android phones if you have an Internet connection and it doesn’t matter if you have location services turned off. Google started grabbing the location of cell towers from the phones so that it could push information to the phones but said it doesn’t store the information. Since they’ve been caught red-handed, they have pledged to cease the collection of information by the end of November. We will believe it only when it is independently verified.
Clearing Corners
Reader P.S. sent in this link to an article on how to clear the corners of your home in a home-defense scenario. Normally, if you suspect illicit entry into your home, your best bet is to back off and let the authorities do the clearing. But what if you have a family member bleeding out or any number of other situations that demand immediate action from you? This is a skill worth practicing even if you think you will never need it. As noted in the article, professional training from any of the quality firearms instruction sites is highly recommended.
Desperate People
An incident in Morocco showed us how desperate people can act in an unusual situation. At least 15 are dead with 40 injured when people stampeded while food was being distributed in a rural market. The value of the food being handed out was about $16 per person. Of course, the article also outlines how we get a glimpse of this behavior here in the U.S. every year. The day after Thanksgiving get up before daylight to push and shove their way through a crowd to get the best deals. The irony of this selfish behavior the day after Thanksgiving is not lost on us either.
Radiation Cloud Update
Russia denied the reports at first (Chernobyl anyone?), but are now recognizing that there is no hiding the radiation cloud that is hanging over Europe. The country’s meteorological service admits that they are finding trace amounts of an isotope only produced in a nuclear reactor. The levels are roughly 1000 times higher than they should be in Argayash, a village on the border with Kazakhstan and about 20 miles from Mayak nuclear facility. French scientists are saying it can’t be a reactor accident because there would be other isotopes detected as well, so suspicion is falling on a discharge linked to the nuclear fuel cycle. We have the near daily revelation of another female teacher seducing and raping another underage teenage boy. This time, it is a teacher at a charter school in Chicago’s southwest side. But today there is a special addition. Reader H.L. sent in this article showing that UK schools are banning “best friends” at school to protect other students feelings. You can’t invite anyone at school to your birthday party unless you invite all the children. Apparently, each student can only bond with their electronic tether cell phone. The trend is already making it’s way across the pond where Canadian schools shuffle student groups around to keep friendships from happening.

The ban on “best friends” sounds like the relationship ethos in Huxley’s Brave New World.
Just read about a student who recorded their teacher doing cocaine in class at a Chicago Charter School. What is wrong with the morals of these people? Does no one have Honor or Integrity anymore?
Keep the kids from close relationships, yet keep them collective at the same time. Collective BFF’s? Somehow that doesn’t sound like it’s going to work out for the collectivists that run our education system (indoctrination camps).

As I understand the aims of the Left, the ban on “best friends” is a recipe for turning kids into snowflakes. People who never learn to identify their opponents, and to form trusting friendships, will have a hard time mustering the courage to challenge injustice.
I strongly disagree that the American gun culture of today has its roots in Indian gun culture.
Long before the gun culture of Indians could have effectively permeated and changed Anglo society, Anglos living on the American continent were fighting and feeding themselves with their firearms.
It’s obvious that two cultures in contact with each other must change, but the statement:
“The Indians provided the fiercely independent accepted ability to fight for your own safety and survival and the willingness to take up arms.”
sounds to me like someone is saying that Anglos had no drive of their own to fight for safety and survival, nor willingness to take up arms.
While this is not exactly revision of history, it is certainly an attempt to paint today’s Whites as less than fierce and determined.
I completely reject such a notion.
Pretty sure our gun culture has roots in Saxon culture and motivation from the St. Bartholomew’s Day massacre in 1575 or so. A very large percentage of the signers of the Declaration had French protestant roots, Huegonauts. Personally, my family has been Calvinist for a good 400 years that I can count.
