SurvivalBlog Writing Contest

Today we present the first entry for Round 82 of the SurvivalBlog non-fiction writing contest. The more than $12,000 worth of prizes for this round include:

First Prize:

Second Prize:

  3. A Glock form factor SIRT laser training pistol and a SIRT AR-15/M4 Laser Training Bolt, courtesy of Next Level Training, which have a combined retail value of $589,

Round 82 ends on May 31st, so get busy writing and e-mail us your entry. Remember that there is a 1,500-word minimum, and that articles on practical “how to” skills for survival have an advantage in the judging.

  1. God bless you and this endeavor. I know that 200 or so mags may not be a huge number, but this will raise awareness among our brethren in California. It’s a good thing that you’re doing. Thank you.

  2. I wish I still lived in the East Bay (Concord area) so I could come say hi. Thanks for doing this. Fortunately, I was able to stock up (ok, maybe “binge shopping spree” is more accurate) in the past 6 days. Hopefully a few other folks can do so thanks to your visit, since pretty much every online retailer and local store is out of stock at this point. 6 days of relative freedom in California = millions of freedomzines flowing into patriot hands.
