Here is a short video showing one of my favorite antique rifles: Minute of Mae: Swiss Schmidt-Rubin 1896/11. Notably, this is a model that can safely shoot the modern high-pressure GP11 7.5×55 cartridge. I should also mention that the serial number for this model for the transition from the year 1898 to 1899 was 236,500.
