Dr. Vernon Coleman: Most painkiller users don’t become addicts. An excerpt:
“The Faculty of Pain Medicine at the Royal College of Anaesthetists says: “It is rare for people in pain to become addicted to opioids.”
Problems arise when patients are given painkillers that they don’t really need. And often patients aren’t told how to take their painkillers.”

James D. sent this: Li-Ion Battery Fire. JWR’s Comment: Of course, on a much larger scale, there is the drama of an electric car fire. And just two days ago came a report of a Tesla semi-truck fire, also on a freeway. But what happens in a confined space? Yikes! For example: Explosive EV Failure in Packed Parking Garage Leaves 21 Hospitalized. I can only wonder: What will happen in a few years, when the majority of cars are electric? I surmise that entire parking garages might go up in flames.
