Five Million People Have Fled ‘Blue States’ in the Last Decade

A Moneywise report: ‘One of the biggest mass migrations in American history’: Economist says 5 million people have fled ‘blue states’ in the last decade, wishes these places would ‘stop avoiding reality.’ Here’s why.

A pointed quote in the article from economist Stephen Moore:

“‘If you look at, for example, the states that gained the most population over the last 10 years, you’re talking about obviously, Florida, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, those states, the Southeast now has a larger GDP — total combined economic output — than the Northeast,’ Moore pointed out. ‘That’s the first time that’s ever happened in American history.’”

“Louisiana is set to become the 28th state in the nation to allow permitless concealed carry of handguns for its residents, following the final approval of Senate Bill 1 by the Louisiana House of Representatives late last week.

The bill, which passed with a 75-28 vote, grants legal gun owners aged 18 and older the ability to carry concealed firearms in public without the need for a permit. The landmark decision is poised to be signed into law by Governor Jeff Landry (R), who has vocally supported the measure, emphasizing that it aligns with the constitutional right to bear arms without government permission.”

Mexican Cartel Uses Land Mines, Drones to Kill Four Soldiers

Reader C.B. spotted this report from Breitbart: Cartel Gunmen Use Land Mines, Drones to Kill Four Soldiers in Mexico. The article begins:

“A group of cartel gunmen used land mines and weaponized drones in a series of ambush-style attacks where they killed at least four Mexican Army soldiers and injured several others. The gunmen managed to escape.

The attacks took place on Thursday afternoon in the rural areas of Michoacán near the town of Tepalcatepec, a region known for its heavy cartel presence by gunmen from both Cartel Jalisco New Generation and their rivals with Carteles Unidos, a group of smaller organizations including self-defense groups, Los Viagras, La Familia and others that banded together.

A convoy of Mexican soldiers was traveling along a dirt road when cartel gunmen set off a series of land mines. The cartels also began using drones to drop explosives on the soldiers. Gunmen hiding in the brush started firing at the soldiers.”
