Been wanting at add a full size 9 to my collection, Was thinking the PSA Dagger was a good choice, but still not available. This Taurus looks promising. thanks, Dan
Allow me to add my “+1” to the G3C… I love it and want a G3 as well.
Both are a-lot-of-gun for the price.
I keep reading that Taurus has issues with warranty work. Like it takes a long time to get anything back. I’ve also read that they don’t sell spare parts for their semi auto’s as they have a life time warranty. A little clarification would be appreciated.
I bought a G3 back back before Covid hit in January. Price was only 239.00 then. I have to say it functioned very well with factory and my stiff reloads. I was a little disappointed with the finish on the slide which I thought was sort of rough and dull, but possibly that was what the manufacturer Taurus intended. No matter, what counts is it worked well. I left it with my nephew in Las Vegas when I drove there from the Midwest. That way I have a pistol if I fly there and don’t have to check baggage and declare a firearm, which is a bit of a pain.
I have several taurus handguns and have been pleased with them. I have sent two handguns back for service and received prompt (within several weeks) results. I sent a 24/7 in which I had a case head rupture that blew out the side of the grip (reload-my fault) and asked them to tell me what it would cost to replace the grip frame (it being a polymer frame which would have to be completely replaced). I explained that it was my fault. I received the pistol back within a few weeks with a new grip frame…no charge. I have a G2c and am carrying it rather than several much more costly pistols which I own. Service now may be a horse of a different color, however the never taurus people are like refusing to shop at say..Harbor Freight because they have some products that are not high quality and not taking advantage of the vast number of products that they provide at much lower price than other sources. Just my 2 cents worth…..
I bought a G3c recently for the outrageous sum of $235 at my local Bi-Mart. Took it to the range a couple of times and have to say that in my opinion this pistol is the most incredible gun bargain on the market. I have more expensive firearms, but dollar for dollar this one beats them all.
Do yourself a favor and if you can find one, grab it!
