Preparedness Notes for Tuesday — August 11, 2020

On August 11, 1857, N. H. Wolfe and Company, the oldest flour and grain company in New York City, failed. This failure shook investor confidence and began a slow selloff in the market which continued into late August. Several other failures followed, and this cascaded into what was later called the Panic of 1857.

On this day in 1807, David Atchison was born. He was president pro tempore of the U.S. Senate, and president of U.S. for one day (March 4, 1849), the Sunday before Zachary Taylor was sworn in. So, technically Donald J. Trump is the 46th U.S. President–not the 45th.

And on August 11, 1942 Actress Hedy Lamarr and composer George Antheil receive a patent for a frequency-hopping spread spectrum communication system that later became the basis for modern technologies in wireless telephones and Wi-Fi.

  1. And on this in 1958, a little baby boy was born in the Rio Grande Valley. He served his Nation well for over 22 years. I hear he is looking forward to retiring soon.

  2. And what is the tested-n-true method to divert the attention of the masses from an economic depression?

“Hey, kids! Let’s have a war!”

In that example, the New York city bankers ordered their congress-puppets to invade the sovereign nation of the Confederate States Of America.
The official tally of battle deaths is 600,000.
Several million other deaths resulted from genocidal rape and starvation of non-combatants.

This’s my opinion based on the facts.
But I was home-schooled, and lack the advantages of a government education to form the foundation of my opinions.

    Prove me wrong.

    1. while i would have probably fought for the south I do believe that there was a bigger picture to look at with the Civil War(at least in Gods eyes). if the union had not existed anymore(north and south) the spanish american war, WWI and WWII might have turned out to be entirely different then what we got with the union intact. IMO

  3. So, gun parts and ammo are being stolen by UPS drivers…

“We have also learned over the last few weeks that Antifa has recruited UPS drivers to snap photos of delivery address tags of residential packages suspected of containing ammunition or gun parts. Antifa organizers are using these photos to assemble “hit lists” of private residential homes to assault in order to acquire new supplies of firearms and ammunition.

We have also confirmed that Palmetto State Armory, one of the nation’s largest shippers of firearms parts, is now covering their cardboard boxes with plain white wrapping in order to conceal their own retail name, most likely because UPS employees are also stealing firearms parts from PSA and similar retailers. The ATF has made several arrests in the last few months of UPS employees stealing firearms during shipment.”

  4. LargeMarge, the South is actually an occupied country and suffers every day from the disdain with which it is treated by the New England socialists who try to control the Federal Government.

    Let’s Roll!

    1. @Wolf Alaska Right you are. Isn’t it interesting to note that, aside from a few skirmishes in Atlanta and New Orleans, the rioting and destruction has pretty much missed the South? This should be a significant warning sign to the New England Communists (there, fixed it for ya) that the South should NOT be messed with… not again, not ever.
