I often wonder whatever happened to the courageous man who stood in front of that tank in the famous photo

It would also be interesting to know what happened to the guy driving the tank that stopped.
It would have been a lot better if he, and a few others, had had an RPG-25, along with some reloads, and been off to either flank of that tank column. Nothing says STOP! like an RPG upside a tanks noggin.
