  1. Thank you K. in Tennessee. I’ve been considering taking up bee keeping for a few months now. I work with a couple guys that are long-time beekeepers and have no doubts they will act as the perfect mentors. I am fascinated by the prospect of having my own hive(s). Your primer added a great deal of info and insight which I’d not been thinking about.

  2. Thank you for taking the time to write this up. There is at least one of the bigger bee supply companies selling on Amazon. I have purchased directly from the company, and from them thru Amazon. I get it faster thru Amazon. I will only buy hive components from either our local co-op, or from a big name bee supply company. Having my lower arm swell from a sting on my hand (thru my glove) up to my elbow the last time I got stung, I now have an Epi-Pen with me when working on the hives. Looking forward to part 3.
