Preparedness Notes for Thursday — July 4, 2019

Today, Americans go through the motions of celebrating the remnants of our once preciously cherished liberty.

Independence day is also the birthday of Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804-1864) and of General Giuseppe Garibaldi (1807–1882)

The folks at Palmetto State Armory are continuing their big Independence Day Sale, through July 8th. Many of the sale  prices are amazing. They have their standard “Safe/Fire” AR-15 stripped lowers on sale for just $29.99. And they have complete AR pistol lowers with SBA3 adjustable arm braces on sale for just $179.99.  (Those normally sell for $319.) Visit their site and check it out, before the sale ends!

Meanwhile, Natchez Shooters Supplies — another one our affiliate advertisers — is running an Independence Day “Pick Your Promo” special, just until 11:59pm EST on July 4, 2019. The following Promo Codes unlock each deal:

  1. Re. Liberty
Today Americans celebrate the 4th of July. Most can’t tell name the war, the combatants, when they fought or why they fought. But they enjoy travelling to parades, carnivals, concerts, consuming hot dogs, hamburgers, beverages, and watching fireworks.

Of course every item/activity is government-approved, licensed, or controlled. Every one is taxed. To choose differently Americans face fines and/or incarceration, both ultimately enforced by a government gun held to their heads.

Most curious, ask them “Are you free?’ They resoundingly parrot ‘Yes!’

  2. Trump is surrounded by his administration that ignores him and works against him. I suspect that he is overwhelmed, as well as ‘treated like a mushroom’. And the NWO is pouring migrants through the border, and shutting down our ability to speak freely. The ‘deep state’ cooperates. The NWO sees his rising popularity, the rise of nationalism, and cannot not allow Trump to remain in office. In fact a cold Communist revolution is going hot. Antifa is allowed to attack 15 persons in Portland, while law enforcement is ineffective, as it is in Europe against the Jihadists. Preserve the financial system, but kill the economy, and their mindless minions join the fight, and cranks up the new age Bolshevik/Moaist revolution. They would chant ‘death to Trump, death to the U.S.A. And we do nothing. We do nothing, and say nothing, on this particular day. Why are we not, to say the least, vigilant?

Yesterday, a large portion of the Internet went down do to a ‘cloud’ problem for about 12 minutes. This event proves the Internet is not as resilient as once believed. This technical glitch could be exploited to crash the Internet. 11 years ago I took JWR’s advice, and purchased the Kiato KA-1102. Using a discone antenna, it picks up stations in Australia, Asia, and South America, and most important, stations in the U.S. with conservative Christian/patriot content:

    And:

    https://archive.org/details/AlexJonesRadioAndShortwave

And what if the shortwave stations go dead? Living off grid and with out an Internet connection the radio helped keep me informed, but it also allows one to listen to Ham radio nets in the HF band, because it has the SSB feature (single side band). Look up the local Amateur radio club, and click on their link for ‘Nets’ to find the schedule and frequency that the ‘net’ meets to chat, or simply ‘check in’. IMHO, in the not too distant future, these nets will become an important source of much needed information. Having a well developed sense of things , or ‘situational awareness’ could prove to be very useful.

The updated model is the KA-1103:

  3. For those of us afflicted by I-1639, there is still one small area still unfettered to take advantage of:

The 10 business day waiting period, safety certification, etc, etc, do not yet apply to lowers- neither stripped nor fully complete, for either rifles or pistols.

Take action now to stock up from Palmetto State Armory (PSA) before the WA AG again performs unconstitutional regulatory felonization.
