The big problem with bitcoin is it requires Good Griddance – both electrical power and internet connectivity.
You can have a billion “dollars” in bitcoin, but can’t do anything with it if you can’t access the internet or the miners can’t do the hashes (think Venezuela where it was popular until the blackouts).

Technology is NEVER a substitute for trust. Where I live (in the redoubt) I expect a handshake to be more binding than any lawyer contract. FICO scores?
