1. Very good book

2. I read the book in the mid 60’s and again a year ago. In the scene where the banker decried that all the money in his bank was worthless missed that he had real silver coins as it was written in 1961.

3. A humble book about ordinary people. ALso, the author took on some tough topics. Not all was peaches and roses.
