  1. re:
    shunning rapeseed aka ‘canola’, soy

Seconded! Although a tiny amount of Omega 6 oils is necessary for the health of the human physical body, this is easily achieved with a few seeds in the form of nuts. Soaked overnight in a weak acid, then sprouted or fermented is best.

Rapeseed and soy are 99.999% genetically modified, fiddled with so the plants tolerate the millions of tons of petroleum-based chemicals we dump on crops, poisons such as Roundup™®© and other pesticides. Those chemicals concentrate in the oils of the seeds, accumulating in our fat if we dare consume them, then perpetually leaching out to deteriorate our health, manifesting in the form of ‘allergies’ or ‘cancers’ or other common modern illnesses.

My physical body deserves real food. What good is prepping to prevail if we cut-short our physical lives by eating poisons?

We like our mayonnaise we make with MCT oil with coconut vinegar and pastured eggs, but as your article mentions, this is for special occasions.
