Round-up at the Round-up: Sheriff’s Office Releases Stats on Enhanced Patrols During Round-Up. Here is a quote:  “The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office conducted 15 hours of enhanced patrols during the week of Pendleton Round-Up. During those patrols deputies contacted 36 motorists, issued five citations, gave 25 verbal warnings, made two DUII arrests and served four outstanding felony warrants.”

  1. RE: Montana JW case.
    Elders in the congregation punished the individual and kicked him out of the organization as is their right

    However the JW’s are ordered to pay because “they” did not report this crime to the police.

    The families should report these matters to the police

    The laws should be changed to make reporting of these crimes mandatory in all cases. As it is, that is not true and victims are told by JW elders that they have the right to report these crimes, but they are not forced to report them

    It is the job of the police to punish individuals legally and the congregation to punish them spiritually.

    Changing the laws would fix this
