Preparedness Notes for Friday – June 15, 2018

Following a revolt by the English nobility against his rule, King John put his royal seal on the Magna Carta, or “Great Charter” on this day in 1215AD. This document, essentially a peace treaty between John and his barons, guaranteed that the king would respect feudal rights and privileges, uphold the freedom of the church, and maintain the nation’s laws. Although it was more a reactionary than a progressive document, the Magna Carta was seen as a cornerstone in the development of democratic England by later generations.

  1. I would suggest to the British that they take a second look at the Magna Carta, re; Tommy Robinson, before every Bobby in London gets beaten up by his outraged supporters. The govt. there is on the side of the invaders and child rapists.

  2. England went to seed a long time ago. Now that they’ve been disarmed in almost every conceivable way, they have only harsh words to defend themselves with. Pathetic really. What the Germans couldn’t do to them in WW2, their own government has done to them. The end result is total subjugation of the individual to GOVERNMENT.

What the English let happen there is a loud and clear warning to us in the USA.
