  1. Personally I have no interest in the bump stock or binary triggers!!! It will be interesting to see if they raise the age to purchase a long gun to 21 as well.

  2. Reach for the Sky is a great read, was in High school first time I read it.

    Banning bump stocks and binary triggers won’t solve anything. Personally I don’t have any interest in either, but believe if you want these things you should have them.

  3. If someone has a bumpfire next to me at the range, I move. Semi-auto’s aren’t usually designed to handle that cyclical rate, and I don’t want to be next to Rambo when it has a major malfunction.

    Don’t misunderstand, I think the foreign parts counts, full auto, length and silencer restrictions, and special taxes are stupid and should be rescinded asap.

    As for age, mixed feelings here. I enlisted with an age waver just past 17. Actually went to basic between my jr and sr year of high school (split option). Even though there should be exceptions for primary bread winners, and military service, if they do raise the age for owning a firearm they should raise the age for voting too. If your too immature not to be trusted to shoot yourself or innocent people, they you are too immature to vote.

  4. I’m hoping the law will read something like “We need to keep all our children safe, so we need to ban bump-stocks, gun free zones (target rich environments), build the wall, and deport all foreign criminals ” and lets see how safe they want it.
    BUT Trump does have a history of being anti gun. His hotels and golf courses are gun free zones. He was all for the 1994 weapons ban.

    Why do these same people call you Evil?
    It’s not that they don’t want anyone to have gun.
    It’s that they don’t want you to have them.
    Their Selves, their Friends, their Family and their Guards (when guarding Them, Their Friends, Their Family and Their Money) are fine.

    You´re hopefully protected by People with good ethics, good and thorough trainig who´ve Sound Judgement who do their best to use violence in a responsible way.

    These Children in Florida weren´t protected by guns, they weren´t protected by People and when they call for Action they´ve every right on gods good earth to do so.
    It´s called free speech, annd IIRC it´s a human right.

A wall would work fine just put the side which is inside Prison, Slaves and mental asylum facing away from the US.
      Thank you for informing be me that walls are not bidirectional. I have just found out that my home has them the wrong way around. I have just tested them and when I tried to walk though them I bounced off them all (thinking about it it’s a good job I did as some of the are ten feet up).

    3. No one is protected by guns? I had to unholster my gun because a criminal pulled a knife on my wife and myself! He had a rap sheet a mile long including attempted murder on a police officer! No You Can Not Take Our Guns!

        Exactly, that what was i trying to say to you the whole time, it´s not the guns alone who protect anybody, guns don´t do anything alone, especially not protecting someone.
        I know that cops are People, that was the reason for the word other in this sentence.

        The wall kept People in east Berlin, the iron curtain kept People in eastern Europe, it was not intended to Keep them out of western europe.

        If you consider this an acceptable situation, i don´t.

        I´d the “great pleasure” to see the iron curtain in it´s “full glory” from the western side, years before it came down.

  7. I think what people forget is that it is not the job of government to protect me, or you.

    The job of the military is to protect the federal government from foreign invaders. The job of the FBI is to protect the federal government from criminals, state police protect the state government, county sheriffs protect the county, locally police protect the local town/city government. As a byproduct they often protect citizens, but that is a byproduct.

    Every institution listed will sacrifice a segment for the protection of the whole. During the Orlando shooting police didn’t run in to protect as many as possible, they cordoned off first to protect the surrounding areas. They did this even while they heard people being shot inside.

    There’s only one person on this earth who’s job it is to protect me, and that’s me. To think otherwise is called denial.

  8. People that can vote ,pay taxes and serve in our military should have the same rights as other citizens. Employers are not required to include employees under 21 in 401k program by feds. Ban them from working ,driving after dark and using sharp tools while their at it we need more citizens that are perpetually children. These kids protesting have not even been educated enough to know they are attacking their own rights. Am i trapped in an episode of the twilight zone ?

    1. More like Orwell’s 1984. I wish I had an answer. Parents aren’t raising young men and women, they are raising perpetual children. These child protesters have never paid taxes, and never been responsible for their actions.

      We have had guns in this country for a long time, but only recently has this kind of shooting started to happen in mass. So what’s different? It’s not the guns.

      Here’s my thought. People are actually terrified of being held responsible for their own safety. They have been conditioned by their parents, schools and media to think they don’t have to take care of themselves. They are so terrified of responsibility that they will give up their rights for the illusion of safety.
