I do not go along with the article/person in question, but do wonder if to some extent if the Redoubt is not becoming in doubt.
The reason I say this, is that many from Kalifornia and other West Coast liberal havens have been seeking refuge in the Idaho, Montana, Wyoming areas for quite some time, and now I have become aware that the NYC crowd is moving in. There goes the neighborhood.
To me the American Redoubt is wherever you can establish yourself, defend yourself, and have room to live freely.
The liberals are spreading like a cancer throughout flyover country, and a cure needs to be found!
Cure for liberal invaders- send them up MT212 November through February. Telling them there is a sow grizzly with two cute cubs on the pass posing for pictures and taking treats from people, should get them on their way….
