  1. Good observation. One important key here is the difference between the immoral and the amoral. The immoral person can be ignorant of their moral condition, not so the amoral. The amoral understands morality and then rejects it, putting themselves outside the possibility of moral redemption. This is an extremely dangerous person.

    1. Socialism and Fascism are clearly different in their treatment of the means of production. Socialism “nationalises” industry while Fascism partners with it,why else did its supporters(like the Bush crime family) go to such lengths? These are both totalitarian outcomes but from opposite ends of the political spectrum(both were supported by the US branch of the Bank of England(Federal Reserve Bank)

    2. Moreso, the ammoral individual is more wicked, because they will apply both moral and immoral means as the situation requires to achieve power. This is why the Left contradicts itself constantly–Striving to be compassionate while employing evil methods.

  2. Excellent, excellent article. There is some very good information here to refute those who say there is a difference between communism and national socialism as expressed in Germany.

By the way, in support of du Pan’s theory, a good friend and veteran of the Vietnam war who has returned to country several times and lived more than 10 years in neighboring countries as a pastor has said more than once that the Vietnamese hate the Russians for reasons mentioned in the article, yet for the most part like Americans. As you said it is all about power.

  3. There is a significant difference in the two theories, though in practice perhaps not so much. Communist model purports a temporary dictatorship of the Proletariat until the full communist model is achieved (once all trace of capitalism is ended). The motivation for communism ultimately is total rule by the people. Of course, we know that can not be achieved due to human nature, but it is the selling point. The ultimate goal of communism is a classless society where everyone is considered equal, and eventually all assets belong to the people. In practice, this can never occur.

Socialism always has a ruling class that governs, and that’s how it is sold from the beginning, however subtly or beguiling. These super human leaders (as they are marketed) must have total control in order to stifle any aberrative opinion and conflict. I think of Socialism more like the traditional midieval monarchy, constructed with local, regional, and national leaders in hierarchy, sans the noble or pious mandate. The ultimate goal of socialism is various classes of people, with a ruling elite controlling all assets, that are owned by the state, and each person receiving according to their perceived contribution.

While Socialism would also seek to do away with the private sector and plays on the notion that capitalism promotes private wealth of an elite minority, it inevitably just replaces one elite group with another. Communism would seek to do away with the elite group (dictatorship) eventually, but that never happens. In that respect, communism stays stuck in a more or less Socialist paradox, until it fails.

  4. The problem with Socialism and Communism is they are unsustainable. That’s why they’ve never worked before and never will. Unfortunately, the one thing these ideologies are good at is causing mass death and destruction in their implementation, thanks to the greed and power hunger of the elites pushing it. They know they’re the only ones who benefit, ergo they are evil personified.

  5. It is so disheartening to see so many of our countrymen giving so little attention to the realities presented in this article. Their failure to recognize the unavoidable end result of ignoring one simple absolute truth is the undoing of the republic. There is a God and I/we am not him. “There is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof is death.

  6. The difference between right wing dictatorships and left wing dictatorships is never in execution but in theory. The left wing requires a perfect population who will sacrifice their own interests for the good of the collective. This is why it appeals to young people so often. The right wing assumes the population are idiots who must be led by the powerful and insightful leader. Both have historically devolved into cults of personality enforced by mass imprisonment and executions. From the outside, they are not different, only in the theory upon which they are based.

  7. Well thought out and written; thank you.

One thing both right wing and left wing dictators have historically shared is the disarming of the public at some point. In the US at least: that bus has already left – they’ve waited too long. This fact combined with the power of prayer may be our “Inconvenient Truth”.

  8. Ouroborotic is a word I have never seen before , and I have seen many words. I hope never to see it again.

Trotsky was not killed with an ice pick, it was an ice axe .

    You’re welcome

  9. Two examples of Du Pans theory are the “trials” of the “Chicago 7″(gagged and chained to chairs),and Rod Blagovic”first person convicted of bribery when no bribe was made or accepted, the defence was probhibited from refuting the evidence(play the whole tape, not just your edits),jury tampering(removal of jurors who refused to convict),and the application of the refusal of retrial based on prosecutorial misconduct and actual evidence of innocence.

  10. The Left may not believe in the Judeo-Christian God, but as sure as fire burns and water will wet, the gods of the copybook pages will have their way, as they always do. (No apologies to Kipling)

  11. Good to hear talk of Beria the NKVD and KGB. They are all still here and present in new guise and new form. They never went away just morphed and transformed. When you understand the magnitude of global misinformation & disinformation you shudder. Maybe it is best to be an anonymous KULAK. A kulak was a rich peasant and Stalin targeted them for ruin because they were independent and met their own needs. Like the Amish they did not need to play politics and Stalin moved against them to steal their resources. He made an example of the kulaks.

  12. Excellent.
However, when a regime has within its arsenal, a few paradigm-shifting technologies that back up its traditional levers of power, and is willing to use them brutally, that regime can stay in power a long time. Longer than my patience can endure. My point is that we all should not be waiting for the light at the end of the dark tunnel our train is entering. I don’t expect any of us will see that day dawn. No US Cavalry is going to ride in and save the day. We need to heed Proverbs 22:3 A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.” For that reason, despite my high respect for this very fine article and the author, I think publishing it was a disservice to all.
