Just started cottonwood tincture last night. The longer it sits the better. Plus you can make balm out of it using olive oil and bees wax. Check it out. I’m excited about it. Now through the end of winter is when you want to pick the buds. I never knew about the properties of cottonwood; it’s pretty amazing. Love your article. Be blessed.

One correction needs to be made.
It is my understanding that mashed pumpkin is not to be canned,it is too dense/thick.
I cut mine into pieces to can in water.
