This drawing reminds me of an article I read years ago about a merc who worked in Nicaragua back in the 70s.
A biography of Echanis would be interesting. He had a short but fascinating life. Gary ONeal [AMERICAN WARRIOR] wrote a little on him, but I think there’s a lot more to the man. O’Neal says he was a LRRP, but in one of the few photos of him he has a SF crest on a beret. Kind of wonder if he might’ve been “sheep dipped” into SF.
