  1. I have an issue with you or anyone calling AK’s or any rifle an assault rifle. It’s a made up term by some left wing wacko to make rifles sound evil. There is no such thing as an” assault ” rifle, period. The rifle didn’t assault anyone, it was the person,if using it illicitly that was performing the assault.

  2. I believe “assault rifle” refers to select fire weapons used in military actions. Wikipedia: “An assault rifle is a selective-fire rifle that uses an intermediate cartridge and a detachable magazine. ” The term is useful. I have an assault flyswatter. I use it to kill flies.
